| I use the cultural symbolism of clothing to comment on the nature of relationships, gender roles and social positions. The materials I choose, such as vintage papers, textiles, buttons, costume jewelry, are deconstructed and transformed into an entirely new form, using crocheting, knitting, sewing, gluing, embroidery, collage and embellishment. |
